Accounting Assistant
Job Description
Alfalfa Express is currently looking for detail oriented accounting assistant to join our team. The accounting assistant will work directly with the controller to ensure that all accounting functions are completed in an accurate and timely manner. This position will assist with accounts receivable, accounts payable, purchase orders, inventory tracking, and assist with monthly close process.
Qualifications
At least 2 years experience accounting or bookkeeping
High proficiency with Quickbooks or other accounting software.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft applications, including Word and Excel.
Good understanding of business processes and solid communications skills, written and verbal.
Ability to work independently, set priorities, and complete work accurately and efficiently.
Additional Information
Salary dependent upon experienceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
