Nexeo HR is currently looking to hire a Accounts Receivable Representative at one of our warehouses located here in Payson, UT. Pay is $13-16 an hr DEO. This position is responsible for collecting funds from customers, maintaining customer files, both electronic and paper files as well as other accounting files. The position would require approving and releasing sales orders for shipment based upon compliance with A/R company policies. The position would require providing information and feedback supporting the A/R Supervisor in the establishment of credit limits and guidelines for new and existing accounts. The accounts receivable clerk reports to the A/R Supervisor. The position also requires communicating and reporting appropriate A/R and statement information to a variety of functional areas, including customers, sales, distribution, etc. This position also would involve frequent interaction with customers and processing various credit and debit memos. Daily cash application of deposits and reconciling account balances are also expected of this position. This position is heavily involved in maintaining SOX compliance.
EDUCATION/SKILLS/
Experience:
Associates degree in accounting and a minimum of 2 years work experience in collections; Good overall knowledge of Accounts Receivable or Accounting; Excellent 10-key skills; Strong typing skills; Good spreadsheet knowledge / skills; Excellent people-skills and customer relations telephone skills; Strong communication skills, both verbal and written; Ability to pay close attention to details is essential
Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check, including credit report, employment verification and criminal background check

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
