That is what makes coming to work exciting! We are looking for someone primarily with marketing interest and skills, but also need assistance with customer service.
The job would be about 75% marketing and 25% customer service.
Who we are Craft Closet was founded in 2020 to create an ultimate one-stop-shop experience for laser crafters who are looking for materials for their projects.
We offer a wide range of materials including wood, acrylic, shell veneers, and more! We are even now producing a wide array of wonderful custom designs.
The goal is to be the ultimate shopping destination for all things laser crafting.
Marketing:
We currently have a 4 person marketing team, and you will be the fifth.
This includes graphic design, photography, video, social media, and email marketing.
R&D is also a huge part of our daily work.
We aren't looking necessarily for a specialist in any of these areas but someone who can take on any role and assist in a wide array of work.
The job can be tailored to the applicant.
One area we need particular attention though is improving our Amazon presence so experience working with Amazon Seller Central would be huge plus, but definitely something that can be learned.
Customer Service:
We love our customers.
Our marketing team works hard to bring people to Amazon and our web site.
Our warehouse team works hard to fulfill the orders in a timely manner.
Now your job comes in.
We don't want our customer to be 'satisfied', we want them to be thrilled! We want to offer support to them before, during and after the sale.
We are searching for someone who would be great at building personal relationships with customers by providing a seamless experience whether it's purchasing products or using the products.
This is not a call center nor a sales job.
It is an existing customer support job.
Part of marketing is keep the current customers happy with their purchases.
We also sell to schools and libraries so keeping in contact with these accounts takes very little time but still important.
Responsibilities Be an active and pro-active participant on the marketing team, using your talents and skills to help move large projects forward.
If you don't know how to do, then learn.
Expand your skill base.
Provide personal attention to our customers ,build relationships with recurring customers and help first time customers.
Promptly answering questions and replying to comments arriving through phone, email, messaging and social media.
Answering customer questions about their orders and troubleshooting order problems.
When a shipping mistake is made, we want to solve it quickly.
Vetting and setting up new schools and libraries who purchase our material for their Maker Spaces.
Manage our Amazon account with emphasis on expanding our reach through improved and new listings.
Skills Communication, communication, communication.
Ability to empathize with others and identify customer needs.
Self starter.
While you will have some oversight and certainly support as you learn, we want you to work independently.
Being flexible with changes and growth of responsibilities will be important.
We want you to help the position grow and improve through input to the processes as you learn.
Multitask--you will be monitoring and answering multiple channels of communication.
The overall volume is certainly not high though, so the majority of time can be spent focusing on marketing.
