Under the general supervision of the Finance Director and the direct supervision of the Customer Service Manager, provides technical and clerical assistance including support in the areas of utility billing and financial record keeping functions related to the utility billing process.
Assists customers at the Utility Drive-Up Window per assigned shift.
Serves as a back-up Utility Clerk at the front counter in the absence of other utility clerks.
Qualifications:
Education:
Associates degree in accounting, business, or related field.
Experience:
Two years experience in bookkeeping, accounting or billing or an acceptable combination of education or experience.
Preference:
Preference will be given to candidates with Caselle Software Utility Billing experience.
Licenses/Certifications:
Possession of a Utah Driver's License.
SALARY:
$19.
00 to $26.
00 per hour based on experience.
No benefits.
SCHEDULE:
M-TH, position will be scheduled to work 5 hours per day between the hours of 12:

m.
and 6:
00 p.
m.
May occasionally be required to work 7:
30 a.
m.
to 6:
00 p.
m.
M-TH to help with coverage at the Utility Counter or to help with projects as assigned.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
