Summary:
Successful candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining and supporting the company's network and systems infrastructure. Responsibilities will include designing and supporting server-based systems and software in a production environment; providing system maintenance support and implementation services for network and system enhancements or changes; building and administering Windows based servers; performing Active Directory user management and administration duties on a regular basis; providing system architecture support by working to create and improve IT systems that support the company's business objectives; providing desktop and user support as needed.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Installing, maintaining, upgrading, and monitoring hardware and software infrastructure.
Responding to operational problems and coordinating efforts with other personnel.
Troubleshooting network technologies that include but are not limited to DNS, DHCP, VLAN, IPSEC, VOIP, and NAT.
Monitoring backups and performing restorations.
Participating in disaster recovery planning.
Desktop support.
Tracking inventory and documenting hardware, software, and licenses.
Applying and monitoring security updates for operating systems, applications, and hardware.
Controlling network access and system control mechanisms.
Troubleshooting connectivity issues for internal and external users.
Updating skills as changes occur in the hardware/software infrastructure.
Providing reports to management as requested.
Multi-task, and keep sight of overall objectives.
Maintaining current infrastructure documentation.
Responsibilities will require some evening and weekend work in response to needs of the systems being supported.
Required Skills and
Experience:
Learn quickly and communicate well with technical and non-technical personnel.
Ability to write proposals or business cases, act as a vendor liaison, and work closely with management.
Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the Information Technology field.
Ability to solve problems quickly and completely.
A solid understanding of Windows Server 2003/2008 operating systems.
Desktop support experience (Windows 7, MS Office, Hardware, etc.)
Database administration proficiency (SQL Server and MySQL)
Administration proficiency in MS Active Directory
An ability and eagerness to learn and support new systems and applications.
Ability to update all equipment in the companies use: Firewalls, Switches, Servers, SANs, Laptops, Desktops.
Experience with VMWare ESXi Standard and/or Enterprise.
Desired Skills
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX is desired.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
