Small Format Xerox Digital Press Operator
WHO YOU ARE:
You are an innovative, creative, hard-working, experienced digital press operator who is self-motivated and committed to learning, and then executing all aspects of your new position. You have graduated from high school & probably have at least some college under your belt. You can look around and figure out what needs done next, but you aren't afraid to ask for help if you need it. You read and follow instructions carefully and stick to deadlines religiously. You have a great personality and like to have fun while you get the job done. You can dig in and focus on the big, important jobs, but you aren't afraid to pick up a broom and help clean up.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary function will be the operation of a Xerox 800/1000
Solving problems is a major aspect of this position
Basic bindery, including cutting, folding, binding, drilling, punching, etc.
Extensive work with the computer
Work occasional overtime to meet deadlines
Ensure all work orders are followed correctly and accurately
Ensure supplies are available and reorder as needed
Excellent written and verbal communication skills necessary
Ensure equipment is operating correctly and efficiently
Perform preventative maintenance
Contact service technicians when problems arise and schedule service and maintenance on machines
Operation of additional machines including a cutter, slitter, UV coater, folder, drill, and envelope press
Cross-train on additional machines as necessary and help in other departments

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Must have experience operating a small format digital printer/press
Must be a high school graduate (some college preferred)
Must be looking for long-term employment

Above average computer skills
Basic math & measuring skills
Must be able to routinely lift and carry 10-25 lbs.
Ability to work with minimum supervision
